In the past there has been an amazing opportunity to see the archeological dig at Whitesands Bay in North Pembrokeshire. Archeologists were documenting and rescuing the ancient ancestors that were laid to rest in a 5th-7th Century burial ground here in west Wales. Fascinating to see the cyst graves and sad human remains, amazingly in tact and utterly touching. It would be wonderful if this could be more fully excavated before damage from the sea means this connection with the past is lost forever.
