Guided Walks

***Covid19 or Corona Virus Precautions***

I am looking forward to welcoming you on my tours!
There will be strict adherence to the social distancing norm of 2 metres between parties.
Group size limited to 18 people maximum or 8 groups totalling 18 people.
All tours must be booked and spaces are not held unless a minimum 50% deposit paid in advance.
Fees are refundable up until 24 hours prior to departure of the tour.
If you give me 24 hours or less notice of cancellation owing to the strict limitations on numbers in any tour unfortunately there will be NO refund of the money.
Payments are fully refundable if tour is cancelled 24hours prior to tour. If less than 24 hours notice is given then payments will be forfeited.
Under certain circumstances with prior agreement, payments will be cashless or correct cash only on the day of tour (no change will be given).
Please make sure you have your own hand sanitizer.
Guide may be wearing visor and/or using amplifier.
Walks are available for individuals, groups small and large ~ please call for more information
Sorry ~ sometimes scheduled walks have to be cancelled - if you are travelling far it may be advisable to check.
Please note-for scheduled walks there is a 4 adult minimum.
Sorry no recording of any walks is permitted by any method including mobile phones and tablets.

Coach, Group and Car Tours

Suitable insurance must cover the guide and any clients in hired vehicles and coaches, also for any accident or occurence during the tour.
Suitable clothing must be worn for any tour.
There are sometimes steps and uneven ground to be covered on tours, participants must be able to assess their own ability to access certain sites and locations i.e. spiral staircases in castles, hills, slopes and steps, pavements, unsurfaced paths and other potential hazards, be able to cross roads unaided unless prior arrangements have been made .
If any participant has a mobility issue that is likely to affect their ability to access any booked tour -this must be discussed and agreed 4 weeks prior to tour in order to make the tour as happy, comfortable and successful as possible.

Conditions of Booking for Private Half and Full Day Tours

Deposits of 25% for tours must be paid for at time of booking or by negotiation with the guide.
Booked tours can only be cancelled in writing and a minimum 4 weeks notice must be given of any cancellation or by prior negotiation with guide.
If a tour cancels 7 days prior to booking 50% of guide fees are payable.
If a tour cancels 48 hours or less prior to booking 100% of guide fees are payable.
Coaches and mini buses can be organised by the guide but must be paid for in full by the client, any refunds in the event of a cancellation will be at the discretion of the coach or hire company.
Any up front venue fees must be paid by the client, the guide is not responsible for any closure or failure by third party locations or venues. We will seek to find an alternative!
Sometimes for reasons beyond our control booked guides and tour destinations have to be cancelled at short notice. An alternative guide or destination will, where possible be sourced for your tour.
